Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Do You Ship Outside Europe?

No. We currently ship only within Europe. Unfortunately, shipments outside Europe are not possible due to veterinary, customs, and import regulations regarding the transport of hatching eggs.

How Many Eggs Should I Order?

We recommend ordering at least 12 eggs for incubation. This helps compensate for natural variations in fertility and hatch rates and increases your chances of a successful hatch.

What Is the Average Hatch Rate?

Under good incubation conditions, including proper temperature, humidity, and egg turning, hatch rates can often reach 80% to 90%. Results may vary depending on incubation equipment and management.

Are the Eggs Checked Before Shipping?

Yes. Every egg is carefully inspected by hand to ensure quality, freshness, and suitability for incubation before being packaged and shipped.

How Old Are the Eggs When They Are Shipped?

We only ship eggs that have been laid within the 1 to 3 days prior to dispatch. This helps maximize fertility and hatching success.

How Are the Eggs Packaged?

Our eggs are securely packed in protective trays and packaging specifically designed for the transport of hatching eggs. The eggs are not individually wrapped, but every precaution is taken to minimize the risk of damage during transit.

Do You Guarantee Hatching Success?

No. Hatching success depends on many factors beyond our control, including transportation conditions, incubation equipment, temperature, humidity, and handling. For this reason, we cannot guarantee a specific hatch rate. However, we are committed to providing high-quality, fertile eggs from carefully selected breeding stock.

When Will I Receive My Order?

Orders are shipped according to egg availability and in the order they are received. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

Do You Ship All Year Round?

Yes. We ship throughout the year, except in cases of extreme weather conditions that could compromise the safety of the eggs during transport.

Can I Mix Different Varieties in One Order?

Absolutely. You may combine different Japanese quail varieties within the same order, subject to availability.

How Should I Store Eggs Before Incubation?

Store the eggs at a temperature of 12–15°C (54–59°F) in a dry location. They can be stored horizontally or with the pointed end facing downward. Turn the eggs gently once or twice per day during storage. For best results, incubation should begin within 7 days of laying.
